Bruce Wilkoff, MD, Director of Cardiac Pacing and Tachyarrhythmia Devices, Electrophysiology & Pacing, Cleveland Clinic

Dr. Bruce Wilkoff presents the study cohort, methodology and results of a study comparing long term lead related complication free survival rates between the Abbott Tendril STS model 2088 pacemaker leads and non-Abbott pacemaker leads for single chamber and dual chamber pacemakers.

This study utilized EP PASSION real world methodology. EP PASSION is a partnership between the FDA, physician societies, academia and CIED device manufacturers to develop mechanisms to quantify long-term pacemaker/defibrillator lead performance.

Presented at APHRS2022, Singapore, November 18-20, 2022.
